Designer Hill Shemi creates extraordinary furniture - original products consisting of metal and wood.
The process technology is simple. A designer makes a form for a future object, for example, a chair or a bench. The basis fit unnecessary parts of the usual logs of cypress, eucalyptus. Then molten aluminum is poured onto it. Molten metal is able to fall into each slot of a wooden saw, filling and forming original patterns that mix natural and artificial.
At the junction of wood a little charred, forming a strong bond. The result is a solid form, which has the effect of sprouted metal in the tree. Using this unique method, the designer makes the pieces of furniture unique.
“Wooden casting” has a warm-cold structure. The product, made in combination of seemingly incompatible components, looks great in the interior.
